Our Board

Keith Loop is a marketing professional from Boston, MA. He has a heart for humanity and serves as the executive director for a local organization working to document humanitarian groups that assist women, children, marginalized communities, and conservation efforts. Keith believes we all have the capacity to make a positive impact on the world around us.

James Vignola is a licensed structural engineer (PE) in the state of New York and is currently
employed as the Director of Technical Design and Structural Team Leader at RAND Engineering & Architecture, DPC. He received a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College and a Masters of Civil Engineering with a structural concentration from Stevens Institute of
Technology. Jimmy has been on the Structural Engineers Association of New York (SEAoNY) Board of Directors since 2013 including a term as President from September 2019-August 2020. He is well versed in many types of construction, from new construction of modern single family homes up to
large scale institutional buildings and renovations of all sizes. Notable projects include New Stair and Station Improvements at Grand Central Terminal which cost $20+ million and Davis Barracks at US Military Academy at West Point which was the first new construction in the Central Post at USMA in
over 50 years.
Jimmy was first introduced to Limb KInd at Camp No Limits, which he attended with his young son for the first time in 2016. Parenting a congenital amputee has connected him to the amputee community in a permanent way and he hopes to be able to raise awareness for the community and hopefully effectuate real improvements for real people living with limb loss and limb differences. He’s raised thousands of dollars for Limb Kind in the last several years, and is very happy to be part of the Limb Kind family.

Robert was born with a birth defect called “Fibular Hemimelia” which lead to my amputation at 10 months old. Growing up was never easy as an amputee, but my family always encouraged me to be strong although we experienced quite a few tragedies other than my disability.

Robert is happily married and has two beautiful children. He has over 10 years of sales experience, working in the prosthetic industry for 5 years as a business developer and patient advocate, currently working for Hanger Clinics. As an amputee it is extremely important to him to make sure his fellow amputees have the prosthesis, resources and help they need to enhance their daily life and achieve their goals. For his work he was awarded the 2017 National Disability Employment Award.

His passion for the prosthetic industry and helping others has led him on a miraculous journey. he has been fortunate enough to found his own organization “Limb Possible”, specializing in motivational speaking and adaptive training. they have traveled across the country and spoken to over 20,000 students. He recently competed on NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” and has appeared on tv shows such as “Ink Masters”, Damages, and a new online series with Mike Rowe called “Returning The Favor”.

The summer of 2019, he made the USA Amputee Soccer Team and USA Sitting Volleyball development team. He has played NBA half times with his Stand Up Amputee Basketball Team Amp 1 and also plays for two sled hockey teams. He is involved and on the board of several non-profits such as “Universal Abilities” and “The National Prosthetic Equality Project”. He pride himself on being as active as possible and showing those around him that “Anything's Possible” if you believe in yourself.

Through his participation in the amputee community he was blessed to meet and develop a wonderful relationship with Robert Schulman. He feels truly honored to be a part of and work with everyone, and is available to help in anyway he can!

   George Putnam began his professional career in 1978 as a bank employee.  Following his banking experience, he returned to college studying respitory therapy with an eye towards medical school.  After several years as a respitory therapist, he once again returned to college full time, training in the sciences and business.  Professional training in clinical perfusion followed with Dr. Albert Starr.  George spent ten years with the Starr-Wood organization as a staff perfusionist and instructor for the Heart Institute at St. Vincent's in Portland, Oregon.

   In 2000. George became Chief of the department of Perfusion at Oregon Health Sciences University.  That same year he incorporated Cooperative Perfusion Services to serve local perfusion needs in Oregon and Washington.  

   George is committed to the service of others.  As a retired professional he brings both business and clinical experience to support organizations that are important to him.  He serves on the board as a very influential member of the Carolyn Jane Foundation, a non-profit organization whos mission is "To bring education and care to rural areas of need through advanced training of local operators, aided by the development and deployment of market-appropriate logistical and technology systems".  Limb Kind and the CJF assist children in some of the same areas, and have worked side by side on location quite often.  Working together for the greater good of the children has sprouted a wonderful synergistic relation.  It is a pleasure having George on the Limb Kind board as he helps our organization grow.

Congressman Anthony D’Esposito represents New York’s 4th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives.  The district, comprising the majority of the Town of Hempstead and the City of Long Beach on Long Island, is a culturally diverse suburban locale known for its miles of sandy beaches, thriving downtown business districts, and quaint communities.
Anthony D’Esposito is committed to delivering real results for the residents of NY-04.  As a congressional freshman with experience in both local government and law enforcement, Anthony is uniquely qualified to tackle the major issues impacting Americans today while bringing a fresh set of ideas to Capitol Hill.
In Congress, Anthony serves on the House Committee on Homeland Security, the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, and the House Committee on House Administration.  In addition, Anthony serves as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Emergency Management and Technology.
Prior to being elected to Congress, Anthony served as a Councilman in the Town of Hempstead from 2016 to 2023, where he worked across party lines to deliver good municipal services to the nearly 800,000 residents of America’s largest township. During his time on the Town Council, Anthony passed several consecutive annual budgets that froze or outright cut residents’ town taxes. As a result of his fiscally conservative budgeting practices, Anthony presided over multiple Town of Hempstead credit rating upgrades while simultaneously delivering important tax relief for his neighbors.
Earlier in his career, Anthony fought crime on the streets of New York as an NYPD Detective for more than a decade — making over 600 arrests in connection with murders, shootings, assaults and illegal firearms.  Anthony’s first responder experience also extends to the fire service, where he served as Chief of the Island Park Fire Department – notably leading the volunteer organization through the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.  ? ?In addition to his public service work, Anthony D’Esposito volunteers his time as both a member and leader of many civic, fraternal, and philanthropic organizations.  Anthony is a proud graduate of Chaminade High School (’00) and earned a B.A. in English from Hofstra University (’04).
