Fear overwhelmed Raymond’s mother as she laid eyes on her baby for the first time. Born with a deformed limb, she had to make the decision to have it surgically removed three days after his birth. Nine months later Raymond received his first prosthesis, which he has now outgrown. Raymond’s mother was fortunate enough to find the Limb Kind Foundation Haiti at the Mission of Hope, where her son could receive free prostheses and pediatric prosthetic care.
