Project Extra

In Limb Kind's hometown of Oceanside, NY, there is a special school program for 4th - 6th graders. These students have been chosen from each elementary school for their academic excellence and creativity and are challenged weekly with special projects to stimulate their minds. Since Limb Kind's inception, Project Extra has adopted our Foundation as their biggest project of the year. Learning the message of spreading kindness, these students learn about Limb Kind's mission, and help to accomplish it by raising large amounts of money for the Foundation. The children learn the importance of being kind to those who are in need, offering their help in a multitude of ways. We at Limb Kind, appreciate all that Project Extra has done for us with the assistance of their amazing leader, Mrs. Angela Abend.
