Rex

After an infection required the amputation of his left foot, 15-year-old Rex had to adapt to life without it. Rex wasn't able to walk at a speed and balanced the way he would have liked to not able to, and had a tough time keeping up with friends. Rex was bullied at school, but kept a positive attitude and that big smile. Rex knew life was going to change once he met the Limb Kind Team.

Rex feels thankful for the opportunity to receive a prosthesis and while he is looking forward to walking normally again, he’s most excited to be able to play basketball, swim, and engage in other sports.
